The invaders can shout at Border Patrol people from the south side of a Trump wall to demand admission under the Refugee Convention.

The US needs to denounce (officially exit) the Refugee Convention.

I find it hard to take people like Trump and DeSantis seriously when they refuse to even talk about the need to get out from under the Refugee Convention.

Without parts and assemblies from Mexican factories, the automakers could not assemble motor vehicles in the USA.

It is my understanding that Mexico exports more industrially-made products to the USA than China does.

Fox News Channel has been reporting this all week. They have a separate line just for the illegals. No security checks whatsoever.

“stop all personal transfers of money to central america, china, and mexico”

We need a blocked currency like India has.

India is happy to get Russian oil. Russia has been told to use the money paid for the oil to buy Indian products and services.

It’s time to defund TSA anyway. The only people they “check” and “harass” anymore are Americans. And most of the TSA checkers are probably on watch lists themselves anyway. Like the Border Patrol, they are too shickenchit to check foreigners, including terrorists and other foreign criminals.

More proof that income taxation is not an obligation, per se, and what you choose to do about it is a question of prudence *only*.

Congress appropriates taxpayer monies. I am unaware they appropriated money to fly unvetted , undocumented, migrants with zero medical history at no cost to cities and towns across America.
I believe President Joe Biden is acting illegally and Congress is doing nothing to stop the destruction of our country. Lucifer appears to be in control.

Isn’t this against the law? Violators should be documented and prosecuted!

Meanwhile this Govt takes in revenues from legal citizens who pay passport and TSA precheck renewal fees. Illegals get treated like their royalty. Insidious corruption from DC.

It’s worse than that..I got a check deposited for disaster relief in 2021 after losing everything to an arson/anarchists urban wildfire. Now they want it back with $8000 penalty and interest added.
Someone has to pay for this invasion.

“The State Department’s Bureau for Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) coordinates admissions and allocations to specific cities and resettlement agencies, in conjunction with nine national voluntary agencies that oversee a network of some 250 affiliates in 49 states plus the District of Columbia through the Reception & Placement Program. When refugees arrive at their destination, these local affiliates greet them at the airport, help them with housing and access to other resources.

“From the date of arrival, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) at HHS provides short-term cash and medical assistance to new arrivals, as well as case management services, English as a Foreign Language classes, and job readiness and employment services — all designed to facilitate refugees’ successful transition in the U.S., and help them to attain self-sufficiency.

“ORR supports additional programs to serve all eligible populations beyond the first eight months post-arrival, including micro-enterprise development, ethnic community self help, agricultural partnerships, and services for survivors of torture.”

https://www.acf.hhs.gov/orr/policy-guidance/us-refugee-resettlement-program-overview

“Right now, many refugees get short-term health insurance called Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA). It is available for up to eight months. Some refugees may be eligible for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) which is available for several years.”

https://www.acf.hhs.gov/orr/programs/refugees/health

“The program serves refugees and other ORR-eligible populations who have been in the United States for less than five years. Refugees who wish to save for a car for transportation to school or work must have been in the country for three years or less when enrolling.”

“A match of $1 for every $1 saved by the client. Matches are allowed up to $2,000 for individuals and $4,000 for households.”

Cash & Medical Assistance
Current as of: November 23, 2022
The Cash and Medical Assistance (CMA) grant reimburses states and replacement designees (RDs), non-state entities that administer a resettlement program, for three main services:

Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA)
Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA)
Unaccompanied Refugee Minors (URM) Program
Associated administrative costs for each are also covered. ORR-eligible populations determined ineligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and/or Medicaid are eligible for RCA and/or RMA for up to 12 months from their date of eligibility for ORR benefits and services. Certain categories of unaccompanied children and youth in the U.S. are eligible for the URM Program.

Refugee Cash Assistance
RCA benefits are generally equivalent to public cash benefit levels established by state governments. RCA helps individuals meet their most basic needs, such as for food, shelter, and transportation.

RCA processes and benefit amounts differ by location, depending on the structure the state or RD has put in place for its administration, and on the local public cash benefit levels or the state or RD levels, which have been proposed to and approved by ORR. State governments and RDs describe the features of their RCA program in a state plan and a budget estimate submitted to ORR each year.

Contact your State Refugee Coordinator for information about RCA in your state.

Refugee Medical Assistance
RMA provides short-term medical coverage to refugees ineligible for Medicaid. The benefits are generally similar to Medicaid.

In addition to providing access to healthcare, RMA funds enable refugees to receive a Medical Screening upon arrival in the U.S. States and RDs contract with local public and private health clinics to carry out the medical screenings and are then reimbursed for allowable costs. The goal is to protect the public health of resettling communities and to promote the self-sufficiency and successful resettlement of refugees.

RMA and Medical Screening programs differ by location. Services vary depending on state Medicaid programs and medical screening processes. State governments and RDs are required to outline the delivery of both programs in their annual plans and budget estimates that are submitted to ORR.

Contact your State Refugee Coordinator for information about RMA and your Refugee Health Coordinator for information about medical screening in your state.

Unaccompanied Refugee Minors Program
CMA funds the URM Program, which provides foster care and other living arrangements, as well as the necessary care and services for vulnerable children and youth without a parent or custodian in the U.S. The participating states and RDs receive reimbursement for direct services and administrative costs.

Funding
CMA awards are allocated to states and RDs in quarterly installment grants based on the grantee’s submission of yearly estimates for reimbursable costs for the fiscal year, identified by type of expense, and a justification statement in support of the estimates.

Through Preferred Communities, ORR helps vulnerable populations such as:

Those experiencing psychological conditions, including emotional trauma resulting from war and other violence
Young adults without parents or permanent guardians who have been displaced for extended periods of time
Older adults without a family support system
Those with physical disabilities or medical conditions

https://www.acf.hhs.gov/orr/programs/refugees/pc

Initially, only unaccompanied minors with refugee status identified overseas were eligible for the URM program. Over time, Congress has expanded eligibility to other unaccompanied minor populations, to include:

Refugees
Asylees
Cuban and Haitian entrants
Certain Minors with Special Immigrant Juvenile classification or Status
Victims of Human Trafficking 1
U Status recipients
Paroled Unaccompanied Afghan Minors 2
Paroled Unaccompanied Ukrainian Minors 3
With the exception of refugees referred by the U.S. Department of State, ORR requires all other eligible minors, including youth in ORR’s Unaccompanied Children Program, to go through an application process for placement and services. Based on the minor’s best interests and availability of appropriate placement options, ORR determines whether a minor can enter the URM program.

Services Provided to Minors

Programs focus on the safety, education, well-being, and self-sufficiency of minors in their care. Services are based on state child welfare requirements and ORR regulations and policies.

Programs may provide:

Indirect financial support for housing, food, clothing, and other necessities
Intensive case management services by social workers
English language training and education
Independent living preparation
Educational Training Vouchers
Health, dental, and mental health care
Vocational training and career planning
Cultural orientation and social adjustment
Preservation of ethnic and religious heritage
Safety planning
Coordination of immigration assistance
Family tracing and reunification

You’re darn right. I have to take off my shoes, my belt because it’s got a steel buckle, empty my pockets because I have change in them and show my US passport. And I am an American citizen. The whole thing is just absurd.
