An International Committee of the Red Cross representative refused to bring a box of life-saving medicine to Israelis taken hostage in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in a Monday address to the Knesset plenum.

"I met with the Red Cross; I handed them a box of medicine for some of the hostages shown here. Some of them really need it...I told a representative to take this box to Rafah; she said no. It was a difficult conversation," he told a special Knesset session attended by families of hostages, who were heard shouting "Now!" at the prime minister as he explained the return of all hostages would take time.

"We are sparing no effort, both seen and hidden, to bring all of the hostages home," Netanyahu said.

I have no respect for
the Red Cross or thier
close affiliate the
United Way. Badly in
need of their services,
I was turned down by
both entities.

I got ZERO help from red cross after a natural disaster. Some did, some didn’t. Old, sick, conservatives just don’t check the right boxes for help.

Charged US soldiers back from the field for a day of rest and refit for a cup of coffee and donut. Lowdown...

The Red Cross is a big libtard scam. If I want to help Israel, I donate to its own version of the Red Cross, Magen David Adom (”Red Shield of David”).

My parents too. My father was a fighter pilot in WWII and my mother worked for the FBI. Both of them despised the Red Cross. I can only remember my father swearing when he would see them in the news. My mother said they were corrupt and that she had seen irrefutable evidence.

Three uncles in the Battle of the Bulge - they despised the redcross until their dying day. Acting as a charity when they are anything but

Well, I can’t say as I blame them....

They didn’t want to become hostages (or murdered) too.

What is Bibi supposed to do? Wave a wand and miracle them home?

After WWII my Dad hated the Red Cross.

Hating the Red Cross is the litmus test I use to determine if a Conservative is deeply informed or not.

That’s interesting to know. When I was in the first grade, all the kids had boxes to put our pennies in for the red cross. My mother forbade me from participating in it. I didn’t understand why.

A classmate's dad was in the merchant marine in WWII, and one time when I was over at their house his dad went off about the Red Cross. It was scathing, and by the time he was done I was aghast. It was more damning than anything my vet uncles had ever said (and that was bad enough).

Many years later the company I was working for was big on employees being Red Cross blood donors and I did that pretty regularly for some years, but they dropped the ball once too often and that ended my participation.

” What is Bibi supposed to do? Wave a wand and miracle them home? “

He is supposed to surrender and make concessions to get the hostages.

Then his political enemies will flay him for surrendering and making concessions !

I’ve contributed nothing to the Red Cross. The director rakes off a gluttonous salary.
