The U.S. constitution is clear. It is the state legislature which determine how the state electoral votes are given, and not the courts or executive branch. This crap all needs to stop, and yes, it’s time to pressure our state legislators to ban Biden from receiving any electoral votes because he created the invasion of the Southern border.

Nobody is speaking to the fact there was no trial or due process for determining the insurrection decision. The Maine SOS pulled it out of her panties.

True enough, but the US constitution determines qualifications of the presidential election, so that has to determine who can receive votes. Then the state "could" decide to send electoral college reps to the contrary of the voters' choice, but then there'd be consequences - biggies.

Yes, but both she and the Colorado SC are attempting to remove Trump’s name from the primary ballots. The Constitution is silent on the subject of primaries. They are hoping to deny Trump the Republican nomination.

In the general election, although Trump’s name might be on the ballot, voters are actually voting for Electors pledged to vote for Trump. Don’t know how they can exclude Trump Electors from the ballot.

I can see the next step of law fare being the challenging of Electors in states Trump wins using the same ‘insurrection’ argument. Control of the House and Senate could prove to be essential.
