DES MOINES, Iowa — There's less than three weeks until the Iowa caucuses, and GOP presidential candidates are blitzing through Iowa.
Recently, Ron DeSantis made multiple stops across the state and brought along some Iowa leaders who have endorsed him. So far, DeSantis has completed a 99-county tour, also known as a full Grassley, and has made more than 154 stops across Iowa.
His campaign tells Iowa's News Now he's garnered support from more than 30,000 Iowans who plan to caucus for him. They have more than 1,000 caucus captains who will be speaking in favor of him at precincts on caucus night.
January 10th, DeSantis will be on the CNN debate stage in Iowa which is being held at Drake University. He hopes his message will resonate with younger voters.
We also have a very good message about reversing the trajectory of the country so young people can get ahead," DeSantis told Iowa's News Now. "Cause right now it's prohibitive to be able to afford a home, to be able to raise a family. We can't succeed as a country if people, young people that are working hard aren't able to get ahead. So we will fix that when I'm president.
DeSantis is still calling on frontrunner Donald Trump to participate in the debate. However, Trump is unlikely to attend since he hasn't participated in a single debate.

I drove across Iowa over the holiday and saw exactly ONE DeSantis sign. Two Haley and too many Trumps to count, most of which are permanent displays. And several very clear FJBs too.

You listened to the wrong people Ron, you had your chance and you blew it.
When this election season started, I was a Trump or DeSantis voter. DeSantis has done such a horrible job defending the people of America against malicious prosecution, I can’t even say I would be a DeSantis 2028 voter. Personally, I hope we can find somebody better to represent us.
If DeSantis is frustrated, angry and wondering how it all went wrong, he just has to look in the mirror. He let Karl Rove and the Trump hating Bush family persuade him to challenge Trump for the nomination and to speak ill of Trump. DeSantis was the successful Republican governor of a well managed state. If he remained in Florida, tolerated Trump’s eccentrics, there is little doubt he would have been the VP candidate in 2024 and probably elected President in 2028. Instead his political career is now largely ruined.
On Rush Limbaugh’s final broadcast, he said that the closest to there being a graduate of the EIB institute is the governor of the great state of Florida, Ron DeSantis.
Look it up! It’s the truth.
DeSantis won’t back down. He is a real fighter. You can scream and kick all you like, but DeSantis, ain’t dropping out. You can keep posting stories 2-3 times a day from the same idiots that cram climate change down our throats 24/7 & tried to tell you that Russia stole the election in 2016, but DeSantis will never back down, especially based on historically inept polls.
