Crimea is overwhelmingly ethnically Russian, never wanted to be part of Ukraine after the fall of Soviet Union and was under no obligation to after an illegal coup min 2014 that overthrew a President it overwhelmingly voted for was driven out of office.

The Russians have had a naval base at Crimea since 1783. If think they were going to lose access to that base, you're nuts.

Keep encouraging this war and the Russians will continue to dismantle Ukraine until it, thankfully, no longer exists. At best, it will end up a poor, land-locked country with the economic prospects of Moldova.

Death to Ukraine! Death to the liberal world order! Death to NATO!

“The Russians have had a naval base at Crimea since 1783. If think they were going to lose access to that base, you’re nuts.”

Russia had signed a lease in 1997 with Ukraine for the Sevastopol naval base. In April, 2010, Russia and Ukraine
extended the lease for an additional 25 years, to run subsequent to 2017 (i.e., through 2042), with an option for an additional 5 years (or, through 2047). Russia unilaterally broke that lease in March, 2014, after its invasion of Ukraine a couple weeks earlier.

You wanton bloodlust is overly apparent. You’re one sick SOB, Ivan.
