Expanded gun-free zones for California concealed carry permit holders take effect in the state January 1, 2024.
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed a “sensitive places” bill into law on September 26, expanding the number of gun-free zones in which licensed concealed carriers could not carry firearms for self-defense, Breitbart News reported.

The area one mile around Gruesome Newsome should be a gun free zone. NO ONE with a gun should be allowed within a mile of the gubnah. NO ONE! Including people who work for the government.

It’s great that California is expanding the number of mass murder zones in the state. You wouldn’t want the mass murderers to run out of places to ply their trade.

On a personal note, I walk past no guns allowed signs all the time..... they’re gonna have to catch me and kick me out.

My local grocery store in NY posted a sign that states that pistol permit holders are welcome to come into the store armed. They are very consistent with not complying to Hochul’s tyrannical dictates. Our town and county government seems to also push back against Hochul.
Just more target practice ranges for criminal types who want to get in some mass murder scores, they won’t respect the “gun-free” zone signs.
You can’t fix stupid, at least not in California. But man, do the stupids there ever feel really good about themselves.

Be sure to check your own state’s laws. In some states, ignoring the sign at a private business just gets you kicked out. In other states it’s a crime. And even within a state the laws are a confusing mess.
The criminals will waltz right into the “sensitive zones” and do whatever they want to the law-abiding citizens who are now disarmed. That’s the first reason why they are doing this. The second reason is that it’s one more step towards their goal: taking all guns from non-violent citizens while leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.
