— A suspect is being charged in the killing of a Greensboro police sergeant, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
Jamere Justice Foster, 18, of Winston-Salem, is being charged with felony first-degree murder, misdemeanor larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.

Harsh I know, but true.
My MD was until cancer took him. He had a knack of looking at a patient who was in serious condition and diagnosing what the problem was and what was needed. He did it many times over with other doctors’ patients. He would walk in look at the patient and write some things on the clipboard at the end of the bed. The patient’s doctor would see the notes and change treatment and a “hopeless” patient got his treatment changed and was in good shape later when he/she got strength back. I was one of them. I went to his funeral service with the intent to talk about him and found I was in line with a dozen others, mostly white and affluent. We all had essentially the same story.-”I was getting worse and worse and the doctor couldn’t find what was wrong and Dr. Fred came into my room and looked at me, greeted me by name, and wrote on the board. My treatment was changed and I walked out three days later.” Dr. Fred had a gift from God.
