Volcanoes are man made events?
Earthquake!!!
The point of this is that itβs all our fault. Itβs always our fault,
It would seem that someone doesn’t comprehend “events beyond their control”.
My son-in-law has a saying (former Airborne & Ranger)...”There’s no such thing as bad weather...just bad clothing choices”.
I’ve taken that to heart.
Dear UN:
Get bent.
This crap sounds like a bunch of college-age stoners sitting around the bong bloviating.
The UN also says that there’s no such thing as borders...terrorism...
Get the US out of UN and the UN out of the US!!!!
Can’t stop an earthquake
Can’t stop a volcano
Can’t stop a hurricane
Can’t stop... etc.
Even if you can reasonably prepare, nature will still kick your ass.
Idiots.

There is no such thing as a natural disaster only the failure of humans to prepare for events beyond their control,
In my opinion this is typical of the hubris of the global “elite”. They seem to think that mankind has absolute mastery over the entire universe. They couldn’t be more wrong...
Sometimes their manipulation and subversion of language is more blatant than others.
The UN is an unnatural disaster.
There is a high degree of hubris and arrogant conceit in the U.N. langauge because it attemtps to portary humans as always capable of avoiding a disaster, which is not true at all. Sometimes every bit of preparation can only limit the effects of a disaster but not avoid it.
My question is, why are they promoting this pedantic distinction? What’s their motive? Are they trying to suggest that if we pass the right environmental laws, if we reduce “greenhouse gases,” we will make Gaia happy and there will be no more earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, and floods?
Again with changing the meaning of words.
“A hazard becomes a disaster when it causes harm to people’s lives and property. A hazard is an unusual event that has the potential to threaten people’s lives, their property, and livelihoods. Hazards do not necessarily cause any destruction.
Eco-intelligent Disasters can be caused by natural, man-made, and technological hazards. Examples of hazards include:
Earthquakes, Floods, Heatwaves, Wildfires, Typhoons, Fires.
Examples of man-made disasters include:
Crime, Arson, Civil disorder, Terrorism, War, Biological/chemical threat, Cyber-attacks.
A high level of vulnerability and a lack of resilience can turn a hazard into a disaster. Disaster risk is expressed as the likelihood of loss of life, injury, or destruction and damage from a disaster in a given period of time.
[Presenter script]”Is an example of a disaster caused by human-induced hazard?
What are the impacts of hazards?
What type of disaster can occur suddenly?
Ask a follow up...”
