As a new years resolution we need to desolve the UN and make it a homeless shelter
Is that a hazardous bang or a disastrous bang? ;-)

Among the coming "currencies," it has been suggested that the real component with not be perceived value but rather TRUST.
Trust in the UN as with trust in much of the federal government, especially under the Obama-Biden-Clinton gamers, is diluting. So does it seem.

The UN is a man-made disaster.
The climate change hoax is finally over? Feels good.
Somebody needs to start randomly piss testing those third worlders running the U.N.
The Big Bang Theory of the beginning of the Universe is now mankinds fault according to the UN.
In my lifetime I have seen the UN slowly evolve from a respected, sometimes helpful, institution into a major force for evil in the world. They’ve really shown their true colors in the recent China virus fiasco and in their treatment of Israel.
‘No Such Thing as the United Nations’ would be even better.
I'd like to see a tornado or tsunami or somesuch come along and reduce the UN building to rubble, then see what their attitude is then.
The UN is full of Morons
Kick the toilet known as the “UN” to the curb forever. Nothing good comes from that commie organization.
I agree with a portion of that. There are certainly people who don’t plan and prepare for things which do make disasters worse than they might be.
However I doubt that is what the UN has in mind.
If you morons would only let us reduce the population to levels that would allow everyone to live in places that don't get hurricanes or tornados or floods or earthquakes or tsunamis or droughts or any other ""hazard," we could all live in peace, harmony, and safety.
The current population is 8.1 billion. We should only have to kill off 8.099 billion of you.
Socialism & Communism are the hazards we should all be preparing for.
I worked for a nuclear power plant from construction until my retirement 38 years later. This was the philosophy required by the NRC.
It made sense at the time because the regulatory environment in the beginning guaranteed the utilities a profit.
Later after the ‘Deregulation’ of utilities did away with that philosophy of guaranteed profits the NRC philosophy did not change and the NRC kept requiring new guards against natural disasters that had no chance of happening at our plant.
Our plant sits on the shores of Lake Erie at the top of a 60 foot cliff. After the Fukushima power plants were taken out by a tidal wave our plant had to spend many millions of dollars to do a study of the plans terrain and install flood protections against a tidal wave on Lake Erie.
The fact that Lake Erie has never had wave recorded over 25 foot. That leaves the plant with a 35 foot safety margins.
The economics are not justified to ensure against non-extant threats.
Shall we pay technocrats to dream of unrealistic terrors that we need to prepare to defeat?
That way is madness and universal poverty.
I don’t usually agree with the UN, but I see nothing objectionable in this.
If a massive storm hits the coast, and no one suffers injury, is it a disaster?
Storms happen, earthquakes happen, floods happen. But they only become disasters when people insist on living where they happen without taking proper precautions.
