Busloads of asylum seekers headed for the Big Apple are thwarting Mayor Eric Adams’ crackdown on arrivals by being dropped off in New Jersey and jumping on a train to reach their “final destination” — turning a family-friendly Garden State suburb into a migrant hub.
The Secaucus Police Department and town officials were informed Saturday by the Hudson County Executives’ Office that four buses transporting migrants bound for New York had arrived at the Secaucus Junction train station, according to officials.
“From what we understand, after being dropped at the train station the migrants then took trains to New York City,” Mayor Michael Gonnelli said in a statement.

I’d love to learn more about what happened to the illegals who landed in Rockford over the weekend. I know Rock County kicked them all onto I-90 and McHenry County escorted them to the County line.
What happened after that doesn’t seem to be of interest to our joke of a local press.

the moral...NEVER go full sanctuary.
They also dropped them off in Hinsdale, South Barrington, Winfield, and others.
This is just insane and the democrat mayors are so evil and stupid that they don’t criticize the illegal immigration they just say they want more federal money.
Those sanctuary seekers have a human right to live in New Yawk City and have the American taxpayers buy them all of the pizza they can eat.

My governor is giving these sanctuary seekers what they want and they want to live in New Yawk City.
I’ll bet they loved that up in Barrington. My money says the Village had them on the next train to Union Station. Same with Winfield.

Alpine,NJ would surely welcome these “migrants” as warmly as did Martha’s Vineyard.
And Elk Grove and Schaumburg I just recalled.
Last one, Lombard!
Migrants know that once they reach NYC, it will be virtually impossible to deport them from this “sanctuary city”. NYC actually has a law preventing the NYPD from cooperating with Federal authorities attempting to enforce immigration law. Even an aggressive Trump Administration without cooperation from local law enforcement and the courts will not be effective. New Yorkers must accept the new realities and burdens since they made it happen with their votes.
Tossin short bills nj too
Almost nothing there but that station. Perfect choice to get them into the City without taking them in themselves.
I was wondering why the big attraction to NYCity since it’s become awful ratty and can’t compete with more modern cities. I suppos if one wants to get “lost” that’s a place to do it. You can always join a gang....same wih Chicago.
The more subtle "new" reality -
The entire nation must accept the new realities and burdens since New Yorker's alone made it happen with their votes.
A couple of years ago I discovered Alpine and have visited several times. Not bad at all!
Saw a report where invaders were asked where they wanted to go - #1 and #2 answers were New York City and Chicago - they’re obviously not being forced to get on the bus - remember a year or so ago when these same Democrats in Sanctuary Cities were saying the invaders were being “forced” onto buses against their will? Abbott made sure to have all his bases covered.
Trump said he saw hordes of migrants on the sidewalks, 10 deep, siting around, smoking and hanging out, said he’d never seen such a sight in New York City in his entire life.
Think New Yorkers will continue to vote for Democrats in the next election?
Learning English and getting at least some education was a popular pastime back then. Of course, NYC public schools actually offered some education back then.
What is coming here are an entirely different breed then the immigrants of the past....these are indeed ‘illegal aliens’ and most up to no good here IMO.
