It’s a non-starter in the sense that everyone here will vote Trump regardless. There will be a lot of angry complaining posts, but nothing beyond that.
You couldn’t be more wrong. I don’t know where you live but I think it’s a safe bet that you’re not from the southeast USA.
How Trump supporters would react is irrelevant - Trump won’t pick anyone who has not been outspoken about the outrages of the stolen elections, the fake impeachments and indictments, and the Jan6th fedsurrection and outrageous holding of political prisoners in DC gulags.
I am positive he will only include people on his short list who have risked everything, just as he has, by publicly expressing outrage over all of the above.
I just can’t see him picking some safe bet moderate at this point - it would send the message that he doesn’t really believe the election was stolen - that he doesn’t really believe there is a deep state out to destroy the Republic.
Also, if you want to get assassinated, what better way than to pick a VP that the deep state wants?
