What Trump needs to realize is that you are not going to win any independents or soccer moms or anyone else if he picks her. The media will turn on her and Sarah Palin her in a NY minute.
If you must tick some check boxes, then take Kari Lake instead
1. Noem has been a GOP political figure for years.
2. Kari Lake is an outsider and a loose cannon. I'm not even sure she's trustworthy under any circumstances. I don't see the GOP leadership selecting a former Obama donor for a VP spot under any circumstances.
3. Lake is already running in the primary for the GOP in the Arizona Senate race this year.
I could see Trump playing the Uno Reverse card and picking Tulsi Gabbard. RFK Jr would also be an interesting outside choice but I think he could be AG and go after the deep state and Big Pharma. Ultimately, I think it will be Elise Stefanik.
Kari Lake would an emotional choice not a rational choice.
She needs to actually succeed at something and be successful before she moves up. Yes I know she was cheated but for the low info voter all they can comprehend is she lost the governor’s race and her court battles. Let her win a Senate seat, do well as a senator then move up.
Trump is in his late 70s things happen at that age even for the healthiest. Where’s the evidence she can pick up the ball and govern?
