The latest target is Harvard President Claudine Gay, who resigned Tuesday. In her case, the outrage came not from her academic peers but her political foes, led by conservatives who put her career under intense scrutin y.
Conservatives zeroed in on Gay amid backlash over her congressional testimony about antisemitism on campus. Her detractors charged that Gay — who has a Ph.D. in government, was a professor at Harvard and Stanford and headed Harvard's largest division before being promoted — got the top job in large part because she is a Black woman.

NO, it wasn’t “conservative outrage” that got rid of Claudine Gay
She was clearly incompetent and not a leader, both fatal flaws for someone in her lofty position
And she proved both with her limp reaction to the open hatred on the Harvard campus, then in her Congressional testimony
Then after-the-fact, we found out she cheated - yes, that’s what uncredited plagiarism is - on her academic work
Remember, nobody “got her fired”, she voluntarily resigned ... even she knew she was a fraud
Article managed to avoid the essay written by the current Harvard student comparing her treatment to student who are brought before a disciplinary board for plagiarism. Still ,they have a point, white woman Elizabeth Warren continue to get away with far greater fraud, and white man Joe Biden plagiarized in real time , stealing Neil Kinnock’s biography, yet it was never mentioned in 2020.

The whole Ivy League meltdown has been fascinating.

Fifth, what seems to have been the camel back-breaking straw was plagiarism. Now ponder this reality…yes, plagiarism is bad , and we’re talking about research. But Harvard was ok with genocide but not ok with plagiarism.
And they are STILL defending her.
I am ready to be let down, but at this moment it sure seems like the leftist curtain has been pulled back, and centrists are stunned.
Associated Propagandists are spinning this story desperately to pin the tale on the honkey. No sale. What they abhor is that attention to Gay’s conduct made it impossible “not to see”.
Claudine Gay, AP, and the left in general, need to face up to the fact that her own actions, beliefs, and statements were her undoing.
Committing plagiarism, showing professional and moral inadequacy, sunk Gay, not being charged with it. Playing with the distinction to obscure her culpability (and salvage the ruins of her “career”) is pathetic.
Gay chose moral relativism, invoking “context” to evade consequences for Harvard’s finest who made blatant anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli, genocidal threats in support of the Palestinians’ terrorist missile/murder/rape attacks. By protecting such trsh, she showed herself to be a moral nullity. No help from Conservatives required.
Mega-wealthy Jewish Democrat donors to Harvard forced her out. Perhaps they were sickened to have given Harvard millions only find that in the opinion of thousands to its students and faculty, Jews deserved to be murdered en masse.
Gay’s refusal to condemn this made it impossible not to see her true hypocrisy, spinelessness, and utterly perverted sense of moral leadership.
Harvard is not funded by Conservatives. It’s Board and most of its faculty would find the notion that Conservatives “think” to be risible; they give not a rat’s arse about Conservatives’ opinions.
