A large number of Americans are fat now.

If it sells stuff, why not? It's just present day reality.

For that matter, I'm fat, but I don't buy clothing based on models.

Man, you are not kidding.

Went out to country dance bar for New Years Eve and just darn. Didn’t see more than hand full of attractive, trim and in shape young women in the 20-40 year old demographic. And the tattoo thing has really gotten out of hand.

A tasteful tat strategically located in not necessarily a bad thing but heck, people are getting huge areas of their bods inked and the work is neither tasteful or artistic.

What were they thinking?

It doesn't sell stuff, though. Most fat people don't want to be fat, they understand that being fat is neither healthy nor attractive, and they don't want to buy fashions targeted at fat people.

Some say your body is a temple.
Mine’s a bounce house.
My doctor told me to get in shape, I told him,” I am in shape, round is a shape”.
What’s the #1 killer of skinny people?
Messing with fat people.

I agree. This isn't DEI; it's basic marketing.
