Wealthy Chinese Migrants are Invading at the Border-Border invasion is our new immigration system

[Make sure to read Daniel Greenfield’s contributions in Jamie Glazov’s new book: Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America.]

The Biden administration refuses to secure the border, instead it promises to fight the “root cause” of millions of people invading America. All it has to do is find that root cause.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas blamed “the effects of climate change, poverty, increasing levels of authoritarianism.” In its joint communique with Mexico, the Biden administration promised to “address the root causes of migration, such as poverty, inequality, democratic decline, and violence.” The Mexican version left out “democratic decline” and then the Biden administration, to avoid embarrassing its undemocratic ally pulled the phrase entirely.

So at least we know that “democratic decline” isn’t a cause of people invading America.

The head of the North America bureau at the Mexican Foreign Ministry argued that the U.S. needs to spend more on “foreign investments to help alleviate poverty, the root cause of migration that leads to desperation and problems like violence and insecurity.”

American companies already outsourced huge chunks of our manufacturing to Mexico.

And U.S. companies are set to invest $40 billion in Mexico through this year and the Biden administration has been urging most companies to bring their supply chains to Mexico. Despite that, there were over 1.5 million border encounters with Mexican nationals in the last two fiscal years making it the top nation for illegal alien invaders. Bringing a Tesla plant to Mexico is not going to prevent the equivalent of the population of a major city from coming each year.

All the talk of root causes proposes that we solve all the social and economic problems of the rest of the world to get it to stop coming here. That’s somehow easier than building a wall.

The premise of the “root causes of migration” is that the migrants, who are generally young men, armed with cell phones and have thousands of dollars to spend on the trip, are the

“tired”, “poor”, “huddled masses” and “wretched refuse” from the poem semi-accidentally engraved on the Statue of Liberty. The reality is undermined by the Chinese Communist bourgeoisie who are showing up at the border and looking for jobs as software engineers.

Bloomberg (the magazine, not the former presidential candidate) profiled the wretched huddled masses of Chinese border migrants combining their illegal invasion with a vacation in Cancun.

Among them are “entrepreneurs who saw business evaporate in the downturn, middle-aged fathers laid-off from China’s collapsing real-estate sector and young software engineers eager to make it in Silicon Valley.” Entrepreneurs with evaporating businesses are a hell of a root cause.

There’s a gaming software engineer who fell in love with Japanese novels, traveled through Japan and then Qatar and across Central America, hiking through a rainforest and taking lots of pictures, who paid $5,000 to border smugglers, and wants to get a job in Silicon Valley and also plans to study Japanese literature at a community college. What’s the root cause there?

The magazine introduces us to a self-described “refugee from the collapse of China’s real estate sector” and a factory owner who lost his plant in a government crackdown. Truly the wretched of the earth with no choice but to fly halfway around the world and then apply for asylum to seek refuge from China’s collapsing real-estate sector in America’s real estate sector.

A volunteer says that “every person I talk to has a job waiting”.

Compared to many of the usual MS-13 gang members, unskilled labor and aspiring terrorists who usually show up at the border, these folks may not necessarily be a bad bet (if you assume that what America needs most is high-skilled foreigners looking to cash in but with no real allegiance to this country and perhaps an allegiance to an enemy nation).

What is more obvious is that the root cause of the border invasion is an open border.

Flying to Cancun for vacation (after getting job offers over the internet from American companies) before hiking through some scenic country and then crossing the border is how immigration works now. It’s a lot faster and cheaper to come through Mexico than to spend years following the legal process of applying to come to work in America.

China’s expat middle class isn’t satisfied with 24,000 visas and so 66,000 of them showed up. And it’s not just China. Much of the world has been bombarded with videos of everyone from around the world, including Russia and Ukraine, who just showed up and got in.

Most of them have reasons for coming. Like their factory got shut down (are we supposed to build them another one in China?) or they want to work in Silicon Valley (should we export even more tech jobs to China?), and they’re coming here to make money and change their lives.

We’re not going to fix those “root causes” except by making everyone in the world wealthier than us. And that is really the only way to address the root causes of mass migration. Only when we have nothing left, then the rest of the world may finally stop lining up to come here. Maybe.

That’s not much of a plan, but it’s the only plan that the Biden administration seems to have.

The legal immigration system has been replaced by a lawless mass invasion by millions of people who have figured out that there’s no point in bothering with a long and expensive process when they can just walk up and apply for asylum and be allowed in till their court dates kick in somewhere around 2035. That is the one and only “root cause” of the border crisis.

How do we solve it? Biden wants to make legal immigration easier. But the underlying question is still whether the United States can or should handle millions of arrivals every year. Legal processes are important, but more important still is the general welfare of the nation.

Obama and Biden decided to unilaterally implement “immigration reform” through a combination of amnesties for some illegals and replacing immigration with mass migration. Faced with a few Republicans resistant to the idea of amnesty and unlimited mass immigration, they implemented it anyway through a backdoor the size of the US-Mexico border. All the talk about root causes is a distraction from the simple fact that this is not an accident or incompetence: it’s policy.

Americans are still misled by the carefully selected pictures of sad women with kids into thinking that this is a “refugee crisis”. It’s a crisis, but it has nothing to do with refugees. The massive increase in border invaders is not due to “climate change” or any other new phenomenon. The Mexican government blamed the Cuban embargo, that has been around for generations and the Venezuelan sanctions, around for quite a while. Poverty and violence south of the border are also long standing phenomena. The rest of the world did not change: America did.

We opened our border and factory owners and software engineers from China decided to come. So did everyone else, rich and poor, along with cartel members and terrorists, who were allowed in with no real scrutiny by the Biden administration. They come because we let them come.

The root cause of the border crisis isn’t south of the border: it’s up north in Washington D.C.

Now that El Presidente AMLO Opendoors is the Keeper to the Keys to the Gateway to America, it’s only going to get worse. Xiden really screwed the pooch when he surrendered our border to the Mexicans.

They will still go on welfare and get every single benefit they can. Medical, housing, food, education - all free while American citizens are struggling to pay for them.

Both sides want this, or it would be slowed.

The Republicans need to campaign on constitutional tax caps on real property and on income - they are badly needed by us and by millions who normally vote Democratic.

The people orchestrating this invasion have committed two major crimes. Breaking their oath of office and treason. I guess insurrection could be considered since it is designed to take over the country but not yet (that we know of) the government. An argument could be made that has already happened.

“They will still go on welfare and get every single benefit they can. Medical, housing, food, education - all free while American citizens are struggling to pay for them.”

Thet could be asked to sign a document promising to pay it back with 18% interest.

My uncle’s estate in New York had to repay $1955 in Medicaid help given to my uncle.

That 18% interest income could be placed in state pension funds.

These crimmigrants are being given a court date for their ‘asylum’ claims that is EIGHT YEARS AWAY.

Those people will NEVER have to pay back one penny. This is ALL about the destruction of America.

Did I miss something? Is that not Mexico’s responsibility?

Greenfield’s got it right. “Border invasion” is our government’s new immigration policy.

It will lead to many immigrant babies in our country. Even if we disallow them to become citizens, you get enough of them and when they grow up they can do a revolution and install a government to their liking.

Mayorkis spoke of eight million jobs that need filling. The government is funding a hush-hush underground railroad to put these young (mostly) men on the production lines. I don’t know how they’re being housed. Quite the mystery.

But the Chinese are another case. I hope someone is keeping track, AI is replacing the jobs they would logically be seeking. I fear they are Chinese government infiltrators.

He didn't surrender the keys to the Mexicans, he surrendered them to the Red Chinese. ALMO is only a tool and a conduit.

Most of those crashing the border are NOT Mexicans. Most of the Mexicans who want to be here already are here. The last company I worked for before retiring had three plants in Mexico. All of them were having trouble with staffing turnover and attracting enough people with the equivalent of an 8th grade education to keep them operating.

All three layers of hiearchy that I reported to were Mexican nationals, including the top guy who had permanent residency in the USA. He still had to travel to Mexico frequently to deal with short staffing problems there.
