ABC News and the executives involved in quashing this story should be prosecuted as accessories after the fact.

I don’t advocate giving government any more power to prosecute anybody for political crimes - but it should be clear now that ABC’s credibility as a journalistic outlet ranks somewhat below that of the Weekly World News. :)

This is not about increasing anyone’s power.

If an ABC executive or executives squashed this story to cover for themselves or someone else at ABC then their motive may well be found to constitute a criminal conspiracy to hide evidence of a crime.

Which makes them accessories after the fact.
