Well, it is Compton, after all. I grew up in Southern California, northwest of Compton, by the beach; and back in the 1950s — and especially the 1960s — Compton was pretty much a no-go even back then.
Where did all those people come from almost instantly at 2:30AM? Why is it that we don’t even have to look at the video to know who did it? Is this just a culture thing where it’s okay to steal, or shoot the server at a fast food store because their order wasn’t served fast enough, or jump across a railing and desk of a judge and start beating her? What happened to the “stop-and-think” gene in these people?

Ive got nothin to talk about...I once robbed liquor store in Compton.
Of course, that’s when we live there back in the 1950s.
And I was 4 years old with my mother and I was mad she was not gonna be buying me any candy.
So I swiped at two cent piece of grape bubble gum..
My sister was a rat and told my mom I had it.
Mom marched me back down there. I had to get give it back to the guy.
Apologize and pay for it.
The teens found out they could raid stores and get away with it so “Why not”? Now it seems they are doing it for fun.
