There are tunnels and caves all over under St. Louis.
In NY there are probably a bunch of old work tunnels for utilities and who knows what from prohibition and so on.
Not sure it can be called a “ riot” when there is no mention of anyone getting hurt, no buildings torched, and no Molotov cocktails being thrown into cop cars.
They could also be part of the underground railroad in some places.
Well, maybe Jewish rioters are more polite and restrained.
