Not sure what to make of this. Video shows a man climbing out of the sidewalk. Since there's a grate in the sidewalk, then how can that be considered a secret tunnel? There are grates all over NYC. Steam usually comes out. Next. Someone cut the grate big enough that someone can fall in or come out. This cut had to be done recently because there's no way someone wouldn't have reported it.

Another point. Since Jewish people are under attack now, they'd probably want an escape route in case the Temple was attacked.

What is the building next door that has a women's section?

There's more to this than being reported.
