Vladimir Putin staged a lavish Orthodox Christmas Eve dinner for children of soldiers killed in Ukraine as he attempted to present himself as a caring leader by ordering officials to do more for the country’s troops.

The Russian leader vowed to back those “with arms in hands” as he hosted Saturday evening’s heavily choreographed event at his Novo-Ogaryovo residence on the outskirts of Moscow.
It came as festivities were cancelled in the border region of Belgorod amid continued Ukrainian attacks that have left dozens dead over the past week.
“Many of our men, our courageous, heroic men, the soldiers of Russia are right now defending the interests of our country with weapons in their hands, on this holiday,” Putin said.

One of my favorites is the Russian shells fired= casualties. When you look a videos of acres of field pot marked by thousands of shell craters, yes that shows mass artillery fire, but does anyone believe that this fiends were full of Ukrainians when those shells were fired
Wouldn’t be surprised if we learn that artillery commanders told their men to fire X amount of rounds and the soldiers as where and the commander says don’t care just fire them so I can report shells fired….
I’d be very careful about eating or drinking anything at any “banquet” hosted by V. Putin. Maybe if I could quietly switch plates and cups with him, while his back is turned, or bring a Taster.

If we picked leaders on being spotless moral beings, then they would be all Jimmy carters(I know he is not spotless), one of the worst presidents in modern time, till Obama and superseded by xiden.
