Absolutely correct in my observation. People in the cities think that rural people, farmers and ranchers, are stupid ignorant people. Let me tell you Matthews, everyone I know who is making a living in this field of endeavor, pun intended, is college educated with a degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Sciences and are the most savvy business people I know. You have to be to survive and make a living. Cost-of-gain, input costs, yield projections, crop prices. What is my profit differential growing wheat vs. soybeans?
