Who is THEY? If you mean college educated Leftists of course they hate America. Their entire education was spent being indoctrinated by a school system that from Kindergarten through college being taught American history spun in the most negative way possible. Nothing America ever did was positive. It was all oppression of Indians, gays, women, blacks, minorities, etc. This was done to undermine pride and loyalty to the nation. At the same time they only teach a positive view of “oppressed” groups like minorities and Native Americans while ignoring their negatives. After 16 years of that reinforced by biased news media, of course they hate the country. Too bad we boomers allowed the schools and media to be taken over by Leftist radicals.
“They want you enslaved and obedient.” That’s true of everyone who places himself above the law. Either humbly follow laws, such as speed limits on roadways, or proudly assert yourself above laws and drive recklessly everywhere. Nothing new under the sun.
