A group of teens are being hailed as heroes after catching alleged porch pirates stealing packages from an Arkansas home. Ring camera video caught two boys keeping their eye on packages being delivered to a house. When the coast was clear, they grabbed two boxes and fled. However, a group of teens saw the alleged thieves and decided to chase after them. The hero teens counseled the boys as they escorted them back home and advised them to stay out of trouble.

Catching porch pirates has to be one of the easiest acts of policing to do, so the fact that porch piracy is as common as it is speaks volumes about policing priorities today.
While I certainly admire those here who caught and schooled the perps, I have to wonder where were the police.
I was hoping for some good "counseling".
I still love the screwing with porch pirates by placing boobytrapped things inside boxes. I did it once. Placed dirty cat litter in a box. Pirate took it. He came around later to try to give it back but the cops where there to take him in. Funny as Hell.
Why I refuse to have packages delivered at home unless I will be there when the package is delivered.

This guy builds his own packages with phones to record glitter being showered and smelly fart spray. Looks like you can now buy glitter bombs for porch pirates.

I still like the idea of a few angry rat snakes boxed up for the porch pirates.
That dood has my respect! He went all out and did multiple revisions. He also did really good engineering work.
My favorite, albeit probably illegal, video was the one where the box exploded with a flashbang. The pirate fainted. Unhurt, but he fainted and was caught.
