They had to cheat to win in 2020 and they understand that Trump’s popularity viz a viz Biden has only gone up since then now that people have 4 years of Biden to compare with 4 years of Trump.

DeSantis was a SITTING member of congress, and a founding member of the Freedom Caucus. He has never lost a race that he was in. 3 of which happened prior to the governors race. You just said twice that Trump launched his career. He was in Congress!
Not to mention Rush interviewing DeSantis and his debate performance against Putnam (it was a 2 person race, btw, not a 3 person race) made a MUCH MUCH bigger impact than anything Trump ever did.
