I tried to but technically I already have an account with Fox News. So the credentials are being cached.
Use your browser’s incognito mode. I just did and sure enough, they want me to sign up to read the articles.
I want verification that Fox is real true news before I’ll ever go there again. And I ain’t signing anything.
I find news websites (national, local) are so loaded with ads, videos automatically starting, etc. that they’re barely usable. Ads are fine, it’s just the barrage of chaotic crap thrown the screen that I can’t stand.
Adding in registration so they can offer a finer tuned advertising product, Go for it, I’m not watching anyway.
I recently dropped Fox.com due to this.
OAN does not require a logon or email to peruse the site.
Just another reason why I’m glad I don’t ever visit the Fox website.
I don’t even watch them for free!
I’m certainly not going to pay for Faux..
Nope!
“I miss the days of easy anonymity.”
Me too.
They want your email address so they can bombard you with ads. I refuse to do it, so the Fox News site is now useless to me.

I’ve actually had CNN overheat my PC a number of times so much that it shut down.
Local news sites use up too much of my 10GB monthly hotspot data limit. I shun them.
I don’t watch videos. If your news organization lacks people with writing skills, hire a few people who have them.
We're approaching the point for a business model that's just a bank of dummy accounts for registering for website viewing.

Advertisers value ad targeting.
However, I’m not traveling this year because lower cost motels are likely to be filled up with invaders. And I might get stranded. Even if I rent a room far in advance, I might lose the reservation by government force or money.
Just a reminder to everyone—since I have not yet seen this posted on the thread...
You can circumvent any paywall/registration/advertisement popups by typing the url into this website:
I’ve seen Yahoo Mail and Google advertising work together.
I searched for leading medical institutions doing trans stuff and Yahoo Mail had disgusting ads for specialized panties during one June.
Faux Snooze going the way of the other letter networks. Far left! Speaking of left, I left Faux Snooze when the Murdoch boys took over and fired Roger Ailes. The writing was on the wall.
I am pretty sure I would not register with Fox News if they were paying people to register and paying per item of propaganda read.
It would certainly have to be at least enough money to cover my weekly range fees. How about it Fox News?
I saw that the other day when I went to read an article. I’ve been signed up for Fox News for a couple of years. I actually like it, but do not like this having to sign in. Easier for me to just watch Gutfeld on YouTube.
I haven’t watched fox news since ED Hill was canned many moons ago….
She was a true conservative. Fox changed drastically afterwards
It is very annoying.................
Newsmax does the thing so I get my news from. You Tube and FR.

Correct. I get all my national and international news from FR.
I let someone else wade into the sewers that are Fox News, CNN, etc.
They then come here - post the excerpt - I read it. That’s it.
Maybe on the rare occasion I will click to the link for more info. But if it requires registration? Never.
