Thanks. I’d never heard his name prior to your reply...so now there are still 4 candidates remaining...

I was surprised that he dropped out so soon. In Jan. 2000, I hoped Sen. Hatch would be elected president. He didn’t do well in the Iowa caucus, so he dropped out of the race. In Jan. 2016, I hoped that Gov. Gilmore would be elected president. He didn’t do well in the Iowa caucus, so he dropped out of the race. In all three years, I thought, “Only one state held a caucus or primary. We don’t know what the other 49 states think about the candidates.” I think all of those candidates should have campaigned until May, at least. Do you agree?

“did not sell in Iowa”

right ... because the dude was SELLING a product ... we want a leader with vision, cojones, and specific solutions to reverse the rampant banana republic fascism induced by obama and biden, not being sold a PRODUCT!

“Today I learned that Asa Hutchinson was (up until this point) still in the Presidential race.”

ditto ... i thought the morn had already dropped out ... oh, well ...

He didn’t sell well in Arkansas. He was a WalMart lackey. The Waltons installed him. I was pretty sure he had dropped out earlier but I guess not. Maybe this time it’s his final time to drop out.

But...but...there was such a DEMAND for him among “reasonable” GOP voters! How could this happen?

Having withdrawn from the race, it is rumored that Hutchinson will not only endorse Ryan Binkley, but thrown his entire campaign organization behind Binkley in order to bolster his chances in New Hampshire. Binkley, whose vote was quadruple that of Hutchinson in Iowa, was unavailable for comment according to staffers due to his hectic campaign schedule.

“My message of being a principled Republican with experience and telling the truth about the current front-runner did not sell in Iowa,”

The man is a worm, with all of a worm’s appeal. That is what did not sell in Iowa.

Most candidates drop out because of money problems.

Day to day campaign expenses are very high.

Asa talked a good game and had me thinking he was alright . . . until he actually took the reins of power in Arkansas. He then turned squishy and started running his RINO mouth.
