Blinken Unveils Grand Plan for Mideast Peace, and Yes, It's Ridiculous
PJ Media ^ | 18 Jan 2024 | Robert Spencer

If you’re a leftist in the Washington establishment, it doesn’t matter how often your fail or how frequently you’re proven wrong. That’s how we ended up with Old Joe Biden as president and Antony Blinken as Secretary of State.

Blinken was in Davos Wednesday for the big Commie shindig, uh, that is, the World Economic Forum, and he was peddling the same faulty analysis and failed remedies that have caused so much trouble in the world already as the cure-alls for the world’s problems. He has done this before. And he’ll do it again.

Blinken unveiled his grand plan for Middle East peace: a Palestinian state. Yes, that’s right: Hamas murdered 1,200 Israelis, many in unimaginably gruesome ways, with Palestinian civilians gleefully cheering them on, and Blinken wants them to end up being the ones who emerge the winners from this present conflict.

A Palestinian state would seem to be the last thing any sane person would recommend now after we have seen Gaza become a jihad terror statelet, but Blinken has not bothered to let the experience of history, much less the power of common sense, revise his preconceived notions. As far as he is concerned, the Palestinians are violent because they lack self-determination.

Giving them self-determination (you know, like when they elected Hamas in Gaza) will therefore fix the problem. Never mind that they’ve turned down numerous quite generous offers to give them a state. Remember: the facts don’t matter in Washington.

As far as Blinken was concerned, Israel was the problem. Regarding a Palestinian state, he added: “To make this possible, Israel must be a partner to Palestinian leaders who are willing to lead their people in living side by side in peace with Israel and as neighbors. And Israel must stop taking steps that undercut Palestinians’ ability to govern themselves effectively.”

Unfortunately, this foreign policy wizard didn’t bother to explain what “steps” Israel has taken to “undercut Palestinians’ ability to govern themselves effectively.” Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has done that well enough by himself; he is now 88 years old and is in the eighteenth year of his four-year term as president. Then there are the Hamas top dogs Ismail Haniyeh, Khaled Mashal, and Mousa Abu Marzouk, who have become billionaires by siphoning off aid money the witless Western left has sent to the Palestinians.

The “Palestinian” state already exists. It’s called Jordan.

Politics is much like commercial medicine. The power and money is in never ending negotiations or treatment. It is not in solutions or cures.

I have a much better solution, but I’d best not put it in writing.

A 100% Muslim State...The same Muslims who have been supporting Hamas for years and years. The same Muslims who were paid to use their children as bombs.

The “two state” approach will NEVER work, as the Arab insurgents have no intention of EVER accepting Israel as a viable entity in their eyes. There is not, and has not been anything remotely like “Palestine” since maybe the time of the Crusades, it is not an entity today, nor is anybody trying to bring it into reality. The Arab insurgents simply want to expropriate the existing real estate that constitutes the nation of Israel, and send all the Jewish people into the sea or exile elsewhere.

Not a solution in any scenario.

I wholeheartedly agree there needs to be a Palestinian state. This is my simple plan, which encompasses several agendas into one cohesive plan. And the best part about this is the entire world gets to help and see the full plan come to fruition.

1. Egypt agrees to giving the Palestinians land in Sinai to build their new state. This would entail providing sea access for a port. It would also be far enough from the Israeli border for a buffer.

2. The new Palestinian state has to be fully green. The reason is if the world is moving to a fossil fuel free paradigm, alternative energy must be used. This includes building materials, roads, infrastructure. Petroleum based products are not to be used at all. Global construction companies, alternative energy companies and and civil engineering firms will participate in the design and construction. As the model of green energy, after a five year window to measure the success, all nation states will commit to the new green model.

3. The UN will move its headquarters out of New York and move to the new Palestinian state. As the new Palestinian state will be the green model for the world, the UN should be at the center of this. Embassies and consulates will be built aligning with the green model.

4. Other global forums like The Hague and WEF will move their headquarters and annual meetings to the new Palestinian state, to celebrate the birth of the new nation.

On the day of the UN announcement and vote that Palestine is a UN voting state, with all the diplomats, dignitaries and VIP’s in attendance, the new UN in Palestine and the world will be witness this historic moment.

Then nuke the freaking place from orbit....just to be certain.

(unveiled his grand plan for Middle East peace: a Palestinian state.)

One of these days....it's actually going to happen.

The man who confirms the 7-year Covenant of 'Peace and Security' (Daniel 9:27) will be the Antichrist. The "instead-of" or "counterfeit messiah" prophesied in Revelation chapter 13 and 2nd Thessalonians 2:8-12 (and elsewhere in the Bible).

excerpts from:

The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement
18 August 1988

Article Eleven:

The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. Neither a single Arab country nor all Arab countries, neither any king or president, nor all the kings and presidents, neither any organization nor all of them, be they Palestinian or Arab, possess the right to do that.

Article Twelve:

Nationalism, from the point of view of the Islamic Resistance Movement, is part of the religious creed. Nothing in nationalism is more significant or deeper than in the case when an enemy should tread Moslem land. Resisting and quelling the enemy become the individual duty of every Moslem, male or female.

Article Thirteen:

Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement.
There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors. The Palestinian people know better than to consent to having their future, rights and fate toyed with.

Article Fifteen:

The day that enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. In face of the Jews’ usurpation of Palestine, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised.

Blinken has blinked OUT of his mind.

May he be reassigned to cleaning the lavatories at Guantanamo, soon.

I read article earlier today that said 80% of Israelis do not support the 2 state solution. I knew there were some of Pro-Palestine staters before October 7. But with Palestiners supporting Hamas and the ‘river to the sea’ battle cry, they decided TFB.
