I think I read somewhere that Javier Milei was inspired by Ayn Rand. I haven’t read The Fountainhead in decades and decades but that ‘capitalism versus collectivist variants’ speech for me immediately triggered shades of Howard Roark’s courtroom speech of the ‘creator versus the ‘parasite’... and it certainly didn’t go unnoticed that in the 3rd last paragraph, he said “Do not be intimidated by the political caste or by parasites who live off the state.”
