Massie also calls military aid to Ukraine kickbacks for defense contractors so this smearing of Massie originates with defense contractors IMHO.

Right now Massie is against sending any US military aid anywhere as matter of principle because the defense contractors get the kickbacks worth billions.
No more kickbacks for defense contractors sounds like a good thing to me but I guess not to Conservatism Inc.
