Like a relative of mine gets news from watching TV. All leftist spin crap.
I say some news and they’ve never heard of it.
They say they don’t pay attention or want to talk politics, but anything brought up they will have an excuse for it.
They know they’ll never win.
Yeah I work with a 77-year-old man. Just two days ago, he mentioned that he wasn’t going to vote for Trump because, well, mean tweets, I guess. I try never to bring up politics with my subordinates, but I couldn’t let this go. I brought up every issue I could think of in 30 seconds: child genital mutilation, gun confiscation, partial-birth abortion, energy sector destruction, open borders, rampant vote fraud, and the complete destruction of the American economy. Then I said: Democrats support all that. Are you happy with that? I’m not. Then I went back to work.
He was rather diffident the rest of the day, and we haven’t discussed politics since then.
And yes, he gets all his news from TV, so I don’t know if there’s hope for him.
