it wasn't an invasion; it was the liberation of ethnic Russian territories, as witness to the elections in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk. These territories are now part of the Russian Motherland.
Didn't I tell you to use pictures that work?

Your post 2 is the 2019 “RAND report” produced during President Trump’s administration.
In post 2 you are attacking President Trump’s National Defense policies and claiming he provoked Russia to invade Ukraine.
His canceling the INF treaty you gave special mention.

it wasn't an invasion; it was the liberation of ethnic Russian territories, as witness to the elections in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk. Still repeating this lie. All these territories have Ukrainian majorities, Zaporizhzhia an Kherson by a substantial amount.
- Luhansk: 58% Ukrainian, 39% Russian
- Donestsk: 57% Ukrainian, 38% Russian
- Zaporizhzhia: 71% Ukrainian, 25% Russian
- Kherson: 82% Ukrainian, 14 % Russian

"as witness to the elections in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk."
It's amazing the results one can get when you A.) Flood the regions with Russian citizens since 2012, and/or B.) Force Ukrainian citizens at gunpoint to vote in favor of the BS referendum.
And it's funny that you mention Kherson.
Wasn't Kherson the city that was liberated in November 2022 by the Ukrainian military who were welcomed with open arms as if they were Charles de Gaulle entering Paris after the city's liberation from the Nazis?
