this appears to be on a preliminary injunction. if so, the main case still needs to be heard, which means there is still a slim chance that the rule of law might prevail (yes?).

I'm surprised no one agreed with you on this point. I believe their vacating the injunction just sends the issue back to the appeals court for further deliberation.
