Are they serious or just engaging in political posturing for the voters?

the USSC order is not accompanied by any supporting argument/reasoning.

I don’t know how this stuff normally works, but IMHO texas deserves some accompanying reasoning. I have been led to believe that peoples’ lives may be at stake.

to counter this legally, texas would seem to need to bring consideration of secession to the forefront of the texas state legislature. so, would the texas state legislature go for secession?

this would have been a good reason for the USSC to include reasoning.

the USSC does not seem to take the larger situation very seriously.
