Unlike his election night speech in Iowa, where he called for unity, Trump is making clear his fury that Haley is not dropping out after finishing second. “This is not your typical victory speech, but let’s not have someone take a victory when she had a very bad night,” Trump said, complaining that Haley came in third in Iowa “and she’s still hanging around.” “I don’t get too angry. They can only force him if they have leverage. In 2016, it made a degree of sense for Trump to choose an establishment running mate. There were a lot of conservatives who were wary of Trump, and the Pence pick helped to allay some of their concerns. It’s different this time. Trump has a 4-year track record. Most Republican voters support him now (even if the establishment doesn’t), so it makes it harder for the establishment to force one of their own onto the ticket.
Its’ to weaken Trump for general election, same with the Desantis candidacy...all his voters went to Haley...they did not support GOP they just hate Trump...same with the online people...TDS is their driving force...they will have to crack their brains this fall and make a decision Trump or Biden...they choose Biden last time and regretted it, but can’t bring themselves to support Trump even though they know he is better...expect a larger than usual third party vote and Trump to win electoral college easily.
