Biden has said that Trump won’t be allowed to become President again. The lawfare approach may not be able to produce a conviction before November and Trump could win even if they put him in prison. So the real danger is that they will have him killed.

The real dangee is they think we'll all just passively roll over and accept the 'lone nutter with a gun' theory.

Not everyone will, JFK was a shock and a surprise, no one was prepared for it, nor did anyone (except Jack Ruby?) wish to extract extra judicial revenge.

I'm guessing that if Trump is assassinated, there will be no shortage of Red blooded Americans out for blood, and no bag limit on leftist officials at any level of government.

They pull the trigger on Trump at their own peril.

If he's elected they miscreants at least have the possibility of escaping to a non-extradition country.

If he's murdered they need to worry at every step, at every bite of food, at every sip, at every opening of a door or drawer if they will be "accidentally" run over, poisoned, or booby trapped out of existence.

That's no way to live, only to die one fearful moment after another, for the rest of their miserable lives.

On the bright side maybe they'll live long enough to attend the funerals of each and every one of their loved ones before it's their turn, and there is no one left to mourn them...

They aren't that crude. A Putin-style undetectable poison that causes a heart attack is what they would try. Followed up with the MSM dutifully intoning: "Well, he was 78 years old and overweight - and clearly under a lot of stress because his past misdeeds were catching up with him. This is a tragedy, but not too much of a surprise."

Very few would believe that an assassination had even taken place. And if Republicans rally around the current #2 candidate and carry her to a November win, the Deep State would not be unhappy with the result.

I don't know. Jack Ruby's rationale for killing Oswald never made sense--it's more likely he was sent to silence Oswald so that the truth about the assassination of JFK would never come out. It has worked so far.

So whoever organizes the next assassination will probably have the actual shooting done by (or at least ascribed to) some fringe type who can be dismissed as crazy (like the attempted assassins of Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan) who will then be killed. The public will then be given an official version which directs their anger at the supposed crazy person.
