She knew and she had the money. She wants to get a win in the primary and call it a symbolic win for the caucus. Having your cake and eating it, too.
exactly, LOL. blew up in her face like a trick cigar!
transplanted from California in 2022. So probably a Democrat crossover.
Charlie Fruit—more proof we live in a hologram.
They need to take their grievances up with Nikki.
She’s the one who is “burning up” donor money like a drunken sailor, but doesn’t have $55,000 to enter the Nevada Caucus.
“There’s no point in participating in the caucus,” Fruit said. “I can’t vote for my candidate. They’re basically disenfranchising me. And this is happening by my own Republican party. I’m very unhappy about it.
"They" = Nikki Haley.
Caucus Denier!
So the revisionist propaganda begins. Anyone who knows the background of the Nevada caucus and primary knows that Nikki’s failure to appear on the caucus ballot was entirely her choice or else was the result of her campaign’s ineptitude.
I dug around a little bit—and it looks like her campaign realized they would be crushed in the caucus so they gave up on it—not worth the 55K entrance fee.
Their plan all along was to “win” the primary and then try to scam South Carolina voters into thinking she was still viable.
Good luck with that.
;-)
NOTE TO MR FRUIT:
YOUR OBVIOUS CHOICE IS NOT EVEN ELIGIBLE.
The CAUCUS I attended in 2016 was so busy they had to use the school copier to print more ballots-—3 TIMES.
Going this year on Feb 8
He missed the Caucuses in 2016 when Trump supporters OVERWHELMED almost every location.
That’s what I’m hearing, as well. Campaigns like hers need to rely on dirty tricks. Such tactics may get you a win here or there, as the 2016 Cruz campaign’s Iowa shenanigans demonstrate, but they ultimately fail. They’re like a trick play in football. They work once in a while because they’re unexpected but are not effective as a long term strategy.
Excellent! I look forward to your on-the-scene report
Her strategy is proof positive that Democratic consultants and leftists drove her campaign strategy—and she probably had no input whatsoever.
Let me explain.
What leftists don’t know is that Nikki is hated by South Carolina Republicans. In fact they hate her more than Republicans in any other state in the union.
How did she manage that stunning feat?
That was the headline—but beyond that she removed—often unilaterally and with Republican opposition—monuments of various kinds.
It was an unforced error.
Karma is a dish best served cold.
If she stays in for the South Carolina primary she will find out the hard way.
Her leftist handlers and the leftist media will never see it coming.
Good catch.
The propagandists are lazy. They use the exact words over and over—it is a “tell”.
Didn’t bother reading article. Every *sshole has an opinion, or blog locking for clicks.
Let’s go out on a limb and say this is a primary that only Registered Republicans can vote.
Any clarification would be appreciated.
Nimarata is her first name. Nimble female rat.
What about the voters, Nikki?
It’s just a fact that the majority of Republican voters want Trump.
You and all your GOPe friends and democrat under-the-table funders need to deal with that.
You are in the minority and will not run the party any longer.
