Cruz is right, and Lankford is wrong. The bill mandates a border closing only after average daily crossings hit 5,000 over seven days, or 8,500 in a single day.
So you can have 5,000 illegals come in every day, forever. That’s 1,825,000 illegals a year, forever. But wait. What about that condition, “5,000 over seven days”? No problem. Just report that only 4990 crossed every once in awhile.
And for the record, 5000 is over twice the Size of Santa Anna’s Mexican Army at the Alamo. So two of those, every day is ok with the skinny preacher.
I had read its up to 8,000 per day..here’s an idea, how about NONE per day..how about saying for once “AMERICA IS CLOSED WE CANT TAKE IN ANYMORE” how about THAT for once coming out of these pro amnesty schmucks
