This border situation points out the absolute need to repeal the 17th amendment and give the state governments leverage in the conduct of the federal government.

The 2022 convoy was shut down on February 14 when Trudeau invoked the emergencies act. A couple days later that scooter woman was plowed over by police horses. Covid restrictions were not lifted until October, eight months later, not because protester demands were met but because the Public Health Agency declared vaccination rates were high enough and hospitalizations were going down. The convoy wasn’t even considered in the decision.

Has everyone been asleep for the last 3 years? Hey you, Rip Van Winkle, we’ve had 2 convoys AND a wild protest already and NONE of them were able to stop the government from harming us. None of these protest’s demands were met.

We’ve repeated this experiment 3 time and have gotten the same result every time. We have enough proof that the establishment is impervious to election and protest. This country must be rebuilt from the bottom up, it can not be corrected from the top down. This means starting at the local neighborhood - town - county level.

Don’t leave the defensive position of your home and go to the border. Instead, coordinate with your neighbors and go to your town council to demand no migrant resettlement or employment in your county.

Art. IV, Sect 4 of US Constitution presents map of sovereign interests among the United States. Those interests were violated by the Feds allowing their 'parolees' to go unsupervised by them. By releasing them within a state boundary the Feds are violating States' Rights.

The 'cure' is easy; catch, and release in District of Columbia which was set up to be a neutral law / immigration / political environment.

We need to call our Governors and remind them that all the Fed illegal alien ‘parolees’ released in the US violate states’ citizenship laws when released within their territories. Therefore, they should all be shipped to a non-soverign territory, aka, Washington, District of Columbia, which was set up for just such a purpose. See - US Const. Art IV, Sect 4
