See, here is an interesting congruence of opinion.
The Obama wing of the Democrats and their plutocrat owners wants to coddle Iran. That was their policy going back decades.
Now it seems that a conservative faction (yours, apparently) agrees with them?
So who are the bad guys here?
If we don’t hit them (Iranian gov’t) hard enough to scare them, they will continue to slowly ramp up their program.* At some point then we must respond heavily.
*”Program” as described / demanded in the Quran. We have a lot of FReepers who need to read the damn thing!
If we “simply” (it’s never actually “simple”) retreat the mullahs will be encouraged and more quickly ramp up their program, funded by our own appeaser-idiots and oil / gas revenues.
If we hit them hard, pause, and say “you want any more?”, we risk a wider conflict, but, the history is that the mullahs back down when sternly confronted by superior force. They have two “drone carriers”, and that observation ship in the Red Sea. All and more definitely need to become fish shelters.
