This (Trumps) was obviously the correct policy, but I doubt very much this had anything to do with the “military industrials” as Obama and co were also into cutting the defense budget. They managed one of the largest % reduction since WW2 (2010-2015). And Trump one of the larger increases.

And the Biden admin has been into holding down defense increases also, btw. Thats one reason the Navy and AF are behind on maintenance and missile/munitions procurement.

Its easy to assume you are on the right side of whatever, but you really should carefully examine where you stand. Your putative opponents have been on “your” side, a lot.

Everyone is both divided and confused, and this applies to both “sides”.

When the military spends 24/7 telling straight white men how evil they are—don’t be surprised if weapons maintenance crashes and burns.

The Bidet gang seems to follow the old British navy approach—”keep up the flogging until morale improves”.
