PIERRE, S.D. - After a recent trip to the United State's southern border, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem addressed the South Dakota Legislature in a speech that pledged her support to Texas. Find the video of the speech below as well as a transcript of what she said.

Thank you for calling this joint session of the legislative body today so I may address both chambers on a matter of grave importance to the people of South Dakota and the United States of America. It is no secret that our country is being overwhelmed with en masse illegal immigration. Nearly 10 million foreign nationals have broken federal law and infiltrated our country within the past 3 years, bringing with them drugs, trafficking, crime, and violence.

Democrat politicians are urging President Biden to federalize the Texas National Guard. If he were to do that, if he were to put them on Title 10 federal active duty, it would be the first time in American history that a President activated American armed forces explicitly to stand down – to make us less safe – to NOT protect the United States of America. And if President Biden can do that to Texas, he can do it to South Dakota – or any other state.

Wow. Cited the Declaration of Independence as well.

While she didn't list them, she did mention the list of grievences. How many of them are reflected today in the way DC treats the rest of the country?

I'm sure Barack and friends will be scheming a way to punish South Dakota, much like restricting LNG exports after Texas told the Feds to take a hike.

Yes, she is easy on the eyes, but what she said was powerful.

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” -- President Trump, June 15, 2015. (almost NINE years ago!)

"But today, many of those who are entering under the current policies of this administration are known terrorists, criminals, human traffickers, and drug cartel members." -- Governor Kristi Noem, South Dakota, January 31, 2024.

As we all know, President Trump was right. The problem Biden has intentionally created is 1,000 times worse than summer 2015.

Governor Noem's address is a must-read in its entirety.

I urge you to read the whole thing and tell your governor he should make the same address to a joint session of your state's legislature.

With all this help going to Texas, when will anyone be able to stop the flow into the other borders state; New Mexico, Arizona and California? Do they even WANT the help?
