Colorado Republican Rep. Ken Buck on Thursday indicated he would not support an effort to impeachment Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, contending that such a move lacked a valid basis.
The Republican indicated he was unconvinced of the merits of the impeachment articles the Homeland Security Committee approved earlier this week which accuse Mayorkas of "willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law," among other things.
"I've talked to constitutional experts on the outside. I’ve talked to former members about the impact that this would have in the future," he told reporters. "The people I'm talking to... agree that this just isn't an impeachable offense." He further described himself as a "solid" no on the impeachment vote.

I would say he’s an embarrassment to us here in Colorado, but ever since this state descended into deep blue hell, our list of embarrassments is long and distinguished. Buck’s foolishness is just one more thing to toss on the pile.
I might otherwise agree with Buck (its a useless measure) BUT passing in the House will put Dem Senators up for re-election with a choice to agree with Biden’s policy of unlimited, unrestricted immigration or to oppose it.
