Pressure is mounting on Hungary to ratify Sweden's bid to join NATO after Budapest finally joined other European Union states in agreeing on new aid to Ukraine.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday he "went to the wall" for his country before agreeing to the EU deal worth 50 billion euros ($54 billion) at a summit in Brussels on Thursday after weeks of resistance.

Hungary is hitting the wall where they’ll either need to quit the EU and NATO or else stand with the two organizations.
If they choose to leave then I wish them well.
Hopefully they obtained concessions on stopping Muslim immigration to ensure their national and cultural security. I can’t blame them for this.
To an extent I can’t blame them for using their leverage on Sweden to gain concessions on immigration. But now it’s time to move on.
After the EU mobsters directly threatened the well being of Hungary’s citizens, Orban was intimidated into normal NATO member Quisling status. Having successfully implemented the Brezhnev Doctrine once to extort Hungarian billions for Uke corruption, NATO goes back to Leonid again for Sweden.
In the past, Orban has used his Party’s majority to pass legislation, literally overnight.
