Judge Dismisses Trump Ballot Challenge Ahead of South Carolina Primary

A federal judge dismissed yet another challenge to former President Donald Trump’s eligibility as a candidate under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, this time in South Carolina ahead of the state’s primary this month.

As a U.S. Supreme Court ruling regarding President Trump’s eligibility looms overhead, set to be issued in less than one week, President Trump is still litigating several ongoing challenges of this nature in state and federal jurisdictions.

The South Carolina case was one of some 20 brought by John Anthony Castro, a little-known Republican candidate who was recently charged with several tax crimes. According to President Trump’s attorneys, as of early January they had encountered some 60 challenges across at least 30 states. U.S. District Court Judge Mary Geiger Lewis found the case to be “without merit.”

Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung described it a “stinging defeat.”

SCOTUS is going to have to resolve this issue before too much more time passes. To have only one or two states rule that Trump can't be on the ballot while all other states dismiss the challenger's petition, they are going to have to resolve the issue.

If it was a rat they would have crushed the Colorado SC 2 hours after the decision.

John Anthony Castro is another RINO gadfly with delusions of adequacy. In a real world, he would have been declared to have no standing to enter into a suit.

He has devils of his own pursuing him.

"This is why I have said these Soros-paid CREW and other morons have made a mess of their nest, by bringing actions against election boards or SoS or an actual kangaroo court 'trial' in Colorado, that puts SCOTUS into a slight omnibus ruling (Roberts) or a major omnibus ruling (Alito), that will almost surely have consequential knock-on effects impairing Jack Smith's lawfare."

The Colorado Supreme Court 'decision' itself could itself be considered Incitement to Insurrection, and those jurists responsible for an inchoate offense or outright criminal conspiracy by subverting the Constitution of the United States...It could be plainly argued from Judge Samour's dissent, that the Colorado Supreme Court directly engaged in Incitement to Insurrection!

Finally, this has to stop and it has to stop now. SCOTUS must take the game-playing of the Colorado Supreme Court "Jan. 4 or until SCOTUS hears the case" and summon those Colorado justices who signed the majority opinion, to appear before them and explain their actions.

You want to stop lawfare that's how you do it, you make it real, you force these 'justices' to obtain lawyers, and make unpaid travel arrangements, and get babysitters, and you put them in front of the highest court in the United States and you simply have Justice Alito say, in his own quiet way:

"Each of you, one at a time, explain how you came to the conclusion that you were entitled to create a Bill of Attainder on a former President, when even the remotest possibility of such an extreme prohibition belongs solely with Congress, and even then, it would be instantly imbued with the stain of unconstitionality.

"Explain yourselves, right now, don't look back at your clerks who you encouraged to execute this calumny, this outrage, each of you stand up here and look us in the eye and explain yourselves. You owe the defendant that much."

That is where we are at as a nation, that this neomarxist mafia that plagues our nation must be brutally exposed on this overreach and that the American people finally awaken, and renew their committment -- their obligation -- to justice and jurisprudence, and most of all, to the Constitution."

Well stated.

In Janurary, the states should get together in Congress and disallow electors from all states who have mail-in ballots.

No one can do a thing to stop it, if they have the votes.
