New York City provided 720,765 residents cash assistance last year — the most it’s ever awarded in welfare checks in at least a decade.
To handle the surge, a staggering $2.46 billion in federal, state and city funds was budgeted by Mayor Adams this year to provide cash assistance to adults unable to work or pay their bills and for their children. The city previously budgeted $1.99 billion during the fiscal year that ended June 30, and $1.57 billion in fiscal 2022.

Please check the math, but that comes to $2,412 per person getting welfare in New York City per year, or about $201 a month.

But I think that city money is on top of federal welfare and state welfare of all kinds.
In 2022, the average American taxpayer paid $13,367 in federal income taxes. If those 720,765 NYC residents had each paid this amount in federal income taxes, it would have brought in $9,634,465,755.
If you can make it there, you’ll make it anywhere.
Given the numbers fleeing New York City, they can’t keep this up.
So now they’re making it somewhere else.

And the anal orifice mayor of NYC and the equally dumber than dirt City Council have just enacted using $53 MILLION taxpayer dollars to give the illegal criminal invaders pre-paid credit cards. They are SUPPOSED to sign something (which I doubt they can even read) promising only to use the card to buy nutritious foods and baby supplies. They didn’t want to eat the foods supplied to them free, they wanted to cook their own food in the hotel rooms NYC gives them for FREE. A NYC official (total libtard loony) was stressing how important it is to make sure these criminal freeloades can get food which is “culturally relevant”!! That woman needs to find her libtard derriere FIRED for abject stupidity.
