I’m about as pro-Israel as you can get. But the United States is a debtor nation. So that will be $17.6 billion in
borrowed money.
No rational family would borrow a huge amount of money to help some other family far away. It would be wreckless in the extreme. Indefensible, actually. But that’s exactly what we’re doing with all of our foreign aid.
