Ten middle schoolers were arrested for allegedly assaulting a Coney Island classmate in a brutal, caught-on-video bus beatdown.
The victim — who one fellow student later callously declared “deserved it” and “shoulda died” — could be heard shrieking in pain as a pack of kids collectively rained punches on him in the Jan. 26 incident, footage shared with The Post and posted on social media show.
The boy can be seen trying to protect his head from the relentless fists while he’s passed down the aisle by his attackers on an MTA shuttle bus, which brings kids from Mark Twain IS 239 for the Gifted and Talented to the Stillwell Avenue subway station.
The beating continues for several minutes, moving from the back of the crammed bus to the front as the boy is punched, slapped, kicked and even hit with a sneaker.
Kids can be seen with their phones out, filming the madness, while others are standing on seats and hanging from the railings.
There is no adult in sight to intervene.
On Monday, police took over two classrooms at Mark Twain to investigate and make arrests, sources told The Post.

I’ll bet these scholars were angry about the student’s take on whether Shakespeare wrote his plays after he had adamantly refused to join their debate on Imanuel Kant’s theories on transcendental idealism.
I’d like to know what he actually did…

I taught for many years at an urban high school. We had an incredible honors program. A student had to prove himself to get into it. For example, if you wanted to get into Honors Algebra, you had to have earned at least a B in your previous math course.
But the honors classes weren’t “balanced” enough. So the requirements were largely eliminated. Come one, come all. I wonder if the same thing happened at this NYC “gifted” school.
We need our Own Homeland !
Wasn’t there a move a couple of years ago to change the admission requirements to all these gifted schools so that they had to admit low is individuals for “equity” purposes in NYC?

He said something smart. Seriously. That’s all it takes to set off the ferals is to say something smarter than they are. It’s the modern day version of getting uppity. If you speak too smart in front of them, you can expect a beat down.
The Gifted and Talented black kids beat up a racist white kid. That’s not a hate crime, it’s reperashuns.

I haven’t seen the pictures…but I suspect “gifted and talented” has been redefined.
I was able to retire before the whole “equity” thing officially kicked in. Instead, my school district operated under the ‘Single Complaint’ policy.
All it would take is one woke complaint, and everything in the district would be turned upside down. I could give you a dozen examples of that. Here’s just two:
One parent complained about student attendance standards. Poof! No more student attendance standards.
One staff member complained about some of our schools having Indian mascots. Poof! No more Indian mascots.
Regarding a girl student who was bullied and attacked in October:
"School administration recommended she get a safety transfer out of the audition-based, performing arts school — while her bully was just briefly suspended, her outraged parents have said.
The girl’s bully was among those pummeling the boy on the bus, her dismayed father told The Post."
Feral black yutes get a pass, while the victims are further victimized. Sickening.
