The communication is achieved using photonic mass accelerators. The radio signals are transmitted through the accelerator at speeds exceeding that of light.
However even though the transmissions are received and transmitted, Ther is to date no understanding of the message.
Further, so far, humans can not communicate directly with the societies of honey bees and ants.

Interesting about hive or colony communications. I don’t think we truly understand how they do that.

That's just not true. I know exactly how ants communicate.
I wore a microphone on my shoe and stepped in a bed of fire ants. I heard the little buggers cheering each other on.
"Get the big dope...how stupid can a big white giant be to step in a bed of fire ants with a mic on his shoe."

The "messages" were received with a radio telescope, according to the article.A signal, delayed by 11 years, was received via radio, that is true according to Holland. However the subsequent conversation is apparently happening via QT, which we already had developed for military use.
