Where’s Art Bell?
It would be quite possible to receive a “radio” communication from an advanced civilization 11 light years away. Earth has been broadcasting radio waves for the past 120 years first in analog and for the past fifty years digitally intelligent messages. An alien civilization as close as 11 light years would over the past 100 years could have received huge amounts of information about earth’s civilization and learn our languages. It is not inconceivable that the alien civilization is in turn linked with other distant civilizations by radio receptions. However if Einstein is correct, then it is virtually impossible for an alien mechanical or biological entity to cross the beyond imaginable distances and physically reach earth or other alien civilizations with whom they may have established contact. Suspect they could use our atmosphere to screen “videos” of UFO images moving at incredible speeds if they for whatever reason chose to do so. Perhaps one day soon our computers may receive some truly wondrous communications.
So, he says he detected a signal in 2019. Assuming he sent a reply immediately, it’ll be 22 years before anything can come back.
How gullible do you have to be to believe this stuff?

A wild story from a guy who won’t identify himself but the mad scientist middleman reveals enough about the guy that he could easily be identified with some research, if he exists.
My spidey sense is zinging...
I’m sure John Titor knows about this and the evil intent of the aliens. That’s why he was sent back to our time.
To warn us.
11 light years away... Minor issue, you say hello and 11 years later they say how are you.
Got a friend who’s telephone conversations are like this.
The communication is achieved using photonic mass accelerators. The radio signals are transmitted through the accelerator at speeds exceeding that of light.
However even though the transmissions are received and transmitted, Ther is to date no understanding of the message.
Further, so far, humans can not communicate directly with the societies of honey bees and ants.
