Picking Tim Scott is a great way to end maga. Not only does he offer nothing, his replacement in SC would be Haley. So Graham and Haley representing SC would be a 4d chess move to help destroy any conservative movement. But, at least Boeing would have their senators in.

Trump correctly assessed that no Veep candidate has ever even slightly helped win an election. He says it’s a story for a few days on the news and that’s about it.

Looking back, I think he’s right.
More accurately, the Veep is the way another faction of the party reigns in the candidate. Reagan...Bush. Trump....Pence. Etc..
